French Listening Exercise

Practice Time: Around 10 minutes

Instructions

  • Step 1: Listen one time. Do not write.
  • Step 2: Listen again write what you hear in but make some pause.
  • Step 3: Hear again at normal speed. Make corrections to what you have written.
  • Step 4: Check the answer and compare.

The Answer

Un groupe de personnes, composé de femmes et d’hommes, en rang, devant un bâtiment officiel. Leurs vêtements sont classiques : costume-cravate pour les hommes, foulard et jupe plissée pour les femmes.

Sur les côtés, tu peux voir le drapeau français (bleu, blanc, rouge) et le drapeau européen(étoiles sur fond bleu). Derrière, on aperçoit un lustre luxueux et un grand miroir. Si tu regardes bien, dans le miroir, tu peux voir le reflet de nombreux photographes… en train de prendre en photo ces personnes.

En effet, au milieu du premier rang, tu reconnais François Hollande, le président de la République. À sa droite se trouve son nouveau Premier ministre, Manuel Valls. Ils sont entourés des nouveaux ministres qui composent, depuis le 2 avril, le nouveau gouvernement.
